Origin is important, that’s why we will only ever use eucalyptus trees which have been planted and nurtured on our own property.
We handpick every harvest and distil the same day. When we say we are small batch, we really mean it! In fact, each distillation produces only around 20 bottles at a time. At Blue Eucy we are all about quality. Not quantity.
Each batch of Blue Eucy contains subtle variations depending on the season. You can enjoy a different fragrance experience with every purchase, from the fresh and vibrant nose of early Spring to the more rounded aromas of late Summer and Autumn. We always look forward to creating a range of fragrance experiences for you.
Blue Eucy oils are of the highest quality so whether you are using them for natural remedies, aromatherapy or simply to savour the scent of the Australian bush, you will only ever need a few drops.
Eucalyptus Oil has been used in Australia for hundreds, if not thousands of years. Indigenous Australians used eucalyptus leaves to treat wounds and infection. Today, the oil continues to be used in alternative medicine and can be an excellent remedy for respiratory treatments in particular. Eucalyptus Oil can also be used in cough and cold remedies, skincare, toothpastes and other beauty products.
In aromatherapy Eucalyptus Oil is used to instill a feeling of calm and reduce stress and anxiety. It can also be blended with other essential oils to target a number of issues such as headaches, insomnia and depression.
Combining Eucalyptus Oil with a petroleum jelly or oil can create an excellent chest rub which can also be used on the bottoms of your feet. It can improve your respiratory system whilst you are suffering from a cold and has even assisted many of our customers with chronic snoring and sleep apnoea issues.
Similar to a chest rub, using a steaming method with a few drops of Eucalyptus Oil can help relieve your respiratory system when you are feeling unwell. It can also be used on a daily basis as a method to open up your pores, and make you feel awake and alert for the day ahead.
When combined with a carrier oil or moisturiser, this solution can aid muscle pain such as arthritis or joint inflammation when massaged into the target area..
Whether it’s creating your own hair mask, or applying a few drops topically to your scalp to keep dandruff at bay, Eucalyptus Oil can be combined into a number of carrier oils, ointments and lotions to create at home hair care products without harmful chemicals.
Eucalyptus is a natural insect repellent offering protection for those who prefer not to use products containing DEET or other aggressive chemicals.
